The National Automobile Dealers Association (NADA) has prepared the “2024 National & Regional Trends in Compensation, Benefits & Retention Report” for its members to stay current on compensation, turnover, retention, benefits, hiring, and demographics trends happening across the country and regionally.
With thanks to our 2024 Dealership Workforce Study participants, we collected and analyzed 2023 calendar year payroll data which provided us with salary, demographics and turnover data along with responses to a benefits questionnaire. The questionnaire allowed us to analyze health plan benefits offered, retirement plans, paid time off, hiring trends, Electric Vehicle certifications and more.
NADA Members who were not able to participate in the 2024 NADA Dealership Workforce Study may purchase the 2024 NADA National & Regional Trends in Compensation & Retention report. This is 2023 calendar year data.

What is the NADA Dealership Workforce Study?
Conducted annually since 2012, the NADA Dealership Workforce Study is the only authoritative and comprehensive examination of auto dealership workforce trends. This study provides the latest industry data on employee compensation, benefits, turnover, retention, demographics, hiring trends, hours of operation and more. The data is published in annual reports for members only. The reporting shows national and regional data as well as non-luxury vs. luxury brands, and sales volume ranges from low, medium, and high-volume stores.
