We hope you agree that NADA Show is an event not to be missed, and this year’s is certainly one not to be forgotten. 

To everyone who braved the unexpected, conquered challenges and made the journey to New Orleans — we cannot thank you enough. NADA Show 2025 will be remembered not just for the incredible networking, learning and innovation, but for the resilience and determination of each of you who made it despite every obstacle Mother Nature threw your way. 

As Marlinda shared, “If this adventure taught [us] anything, it’s that you can prepare for anything —except a blizzard in the bayou.”

We invited you to share your unforgettable travel experiences. And, as usual, you did not disappoint! 

The stories flooded in. From flights canceled and roads closed because of unprecedented snowstorms to cross-country road trips, your mettle was tested and your stories of perseverance have inspired us all. Like Alicea from Portland, who overcame personal loss and canceled flights to experience her first solo adventure outside Oregon. Exploring a new city alone for the first time while pursuing a significant career milestone demonstrates her resilience and growth through adversity.

Or the team who refused to let a complete travel shutdown stop them, driving 24 hours straight from Miami to New Orleans across icy roads just to be a part of the NADA experience. Your dedication reflects the spirit of our industry — relentless, adaptive and committed. 

And then, there’s the wild ride of the group from Seattle who, fueled by Red Bulls and determination, navigated snowstorms, empty gas tanks and closed bridges to finally reach New Orleans. Their story is a testament to the lengths our community will go to connect and grow together. 

We are also grateful for those who faced unexpected dangers — like the team whose rental car lost a wheel on the interstate yet still pushed forward to make it. Your resilience is truly remarkable.
