Alabama Auto Dealer Forrest McConnell Takes Office as NADA Vice Chairman for 2013

McLEAN, Va. (Feb. 14, 2013) Forrest McConnell, III, owner of McConnell Honda and Acura in Montgomery, Ala., is the new vice chairman of the National Automobile Dealers Association, a trade group representing nearly 16,000 new-car and -truck dealerships in the U.S.

"I'm honored to lead a group of entrepreneurs that drive the American economy," McConnell said. "It's a privilege to serve the nation's new-car and -truck dealers who are civic leaders and pillars of their communities across the country."

David W. Westcott, owner of David Westcott Buick, GMC and Suzuki in Burlington, N.C., took the helm of NADA at its annual convention, along with McConnell as vice chairman. The NADA convention, held in Orlando, Fla., drew more than 21,000 attendees from Feb. 8-11.
