The Environmental Protection Agency’s (EPA) rule governing hazardous air pollutants (HAPs) required existing body shops to file an Initial Notification Form by January 10, 2010, and fully comply with the rule by January 11, 2011. Dealers had to file a Notification of Compliance status form by March 11, 2011.
