Stan Masamitsu is president of Tony Group in Waipahu, Hawaii. The company was originally founded by his father in 1967 in Japan, then moved to Hawaii in 1977 to open their first dealership in the U.S. After graduating from college in 1992, he spent two years at the company's California dealerships, Los Gatos Honda and South Coast Acura, holding multiple positions before taking over as president in 1996. Masamitsu represents Hawaii's franchised new-car dealers on the board of directors of the National Automobile Dealers Association. (Term:  March 2013-February 2024)
