The competition was fierce and included skits, rapping and even a repeat appearance for last year’s winner, 1Micro. Judges Wes Lutz, NADA director and president of Extreme Chrysler/Dodge/Jeep, RAM Inc. in Jackson, Mich.; Anita Castriota, managing partner at Castriota Chevrolet Inc. in Hudson, Fla.; and Scott Dube, NADA director and president of Bill Dube Hyundai in Wilmington, Mass. had their scorecards and their questions ready for the fast-paced session.
But there could be only one winner and it happened to be the rapping duo Alexi Venneri, co-founder and CEO, and Krys Van Slyke, vice president, customer experience and creative strategy, representing DAS Technologies. In addition to regaling the Live Stage crowd with their rendition of Run-D.M.C.’s, “It’s Tricky,” Venneri and Van Slyke pitched their “next-level Consumer Data and Experience Platform (CDXP),” which includes real-time lead quoting, prospect nurturing, service messaging, SMS enhancements, and inventory merchandising partnerships and capabilities.
DAS Technologies received the coveted glass trophy and a 30-minute spot on the Live Stage at 2pm PT on Saturday, Feb. 3 to further pitch their product to the NADA Show audience of dealers, decisionmakers and buyers.
