They came. They saw. They conquered.
And on Saturday’s Live Stage, ComplyAuto, winners of the NADA Show Exhibitor Pitch Competition, the victors enjoyed their spoils.
Rudy Graff, aka the Man in Black, who did the original two-minute pitch, did not attend Saturday’s session. But his brother, Andy Graff, COO of ComplyAuto, was on hand to explain his company’s latest product, DealCheck AI.
Based in Salt Lake City, Utah, ComplyAuto is an “all-in-one” compliance automation platform for businesses. Currently in use by more than 9,000 dealerships nationwide, the company offers cloud-based software that helps companies enhance their compliance and security capabilities while becoming more efficient and cost-effective. ComplyAuto manages and automates compliance decisions, performing tasks that would normally require manually intensive processes and human intelligence.
Graff, who started his dealership career as a salesman at Galpin Motors in California before moving into F&I, explained that he knows first-hand the work and headaches involved in ensuring compliance across hundreds of pages in a deal jacket, including lost sales due to kicked deals.
That’s why ComplyAuto has created DealCheck AI to transform the sales process. With a simple, four-step process, DealCheck is able to run through and analyze an entire deal jacket in about a minute, leading to “flawless deals,” Graff said. After DealCheck has ensured total compliance, it passes a certificate, letting everyone in the dealership know that the deal has been checked.
DealCheck AI is a concept that Graff and his team have been working on for a while, but thanks to advancements in technology, ComplyAuto has only recently been able to roll out the feature. Not only does DealCheck AI ensure signatures and validate forms, it also can tell you how to fix any compliance issues.
“This is not a one-size-fits all” program, Graff said. “This is federal, state, lender and dealer specific. We do it just for the dealership. We ask what lenders you have, OEMs you represent and we build the system around you.”
ComplyAuto also sends someone to the client dealership to train the F&I department, and provides support.
ComplyAuto’s Chief Legal Officer, Brad Miller, was also on hand to answer any audience questions. Miller, who formerly served as NADA Chief Legal Counselor for 16 years, said it wasn’t until he went to work for ComplyAuto that he realized the “pain dealers feel in terms of the process… this solves a lot of problems. I’m blown away by what it solves for dealers.”
