    • Had a bit too much fun? Grab a taxi, Uber, or Lyft to avoid walking or driving intoxicated.

  8. Trust Your Gut
    • Does something feel off? It probably is. Leve the area and notify a police officer or Safety Ranger.

  9. Don't Fall for Con Games
    • "I bet I can tell you where you got your shoes!" Nope. Smile, Nod, and keep walking.

  10. Lock it Down
    • Lock car doors and stow valuables out of sight. Same goes for your hotel room—double-check that doors are secure before heading out or settling in.

  11. Drink Smart
    • Don't leave drinks unattended or accept drinks from strangers. Safety first, always.

  12. Respect Local Laws
    • Most rules back home apply here too. Be mindful and follow the law.

    • Leave a photocopy of your driver's license or passport in your hotel room. If your ID gets lost, this backup could save the day in a travel emergency.
