Doctors, nurses, research institutes and hospitals are vital for the health and integrity of communities across America. Local franchised dealerships understand this, and they’ve been doing their part around the country to make sure their local hospitals and health care workers have the financial resources they need to take care of their communities.

Whether through charity events, direct donations or other activities, local franchised dealerships continue to make our communities better through supporting the local healthcare infrastructure. Some recent examples from earlier this year include:

  • Casco Bay Ford in Yarmouth, Maine donated $11,000 to Barbara Bush Children’s Hospital. It’s the fifth year of a long-running partnership between the two, with Casco Bay Ford donating $100 for every vehicle sold earlier this year.
  • Huffines Auto Dealerships in Texas organized a “Christmas in July” charity drive for their local pediatric system. The campaign included a toy drive and monetary donations, concluding with a celebration at Children’s Health Dallas with 600 toys and $100,000 donated.
  • Baltimore-Area Toyota Dealers in Maryland announced in August they would donate $500 to Kennedy Krieger Institute for every touchdown scored by the Baltimore Ravens. Kennedy Krieger is a non-profit affiliate of Johns Hopkins Hospital.
  • North Park Subaru in San Antonio, Texas partnered with Leukemia & Lymphoma Society and donated 80 blankets and patient care packages to local cancer patients. North Park Subaru also donated $10,000 to the LLS Urgent Need Pediatric, Adolescent and Young Adult Fund in support of blood cancer patients and their families.
