NADA offers member dealerships and their personnel a wide array of education and training resources. Dealer members and employees can choose from a variety of content, formats and delivery methods to meet their needs, schedules and budgets. NADA Education resources fall into two broad categories. Let’s take a look.

Active Engagement with Content/Peers/Instructor-Facilitator Academy

The gold standard for auto retail education. Six high-intensity week-long sessions at NADA HQ working with NADA Instructors and dealership peers. Topics include: Financial Statement Analysis, Variable Ops: New, Parts, Service, Variable Ops: Used, 20 Group Simulation and Leadership.

Professional Series

Similar to the Academy, but lighter on time and travel and designed for new and/or high-potential future managers. Participants select from four core tracks (Sales, Service, Parts, Office), then complete four modules (Core, such as Service; Leadership; Human Resources; and DMS Applications). Two of the modules use live, 2-day-in-classroom sessions with Academy Instructors and two are completed online for minimal time away from dealership. Classroom sessions are travel-light with locations in Tysons, VA; Cerritos, CA; Seattle, WA; Milwaukee, WI; Chicago, IL; and, Dallas, TX. See 2019 schedule.

Tailored Training

NADA can send Academy instructors to work with your group at your location on your dates using your selected NADA content. Assemble a group from your own organization or pool several dealership organizations under the umbrella of your local dealer association. Choose from topics that include Variable Ops, Fixed Ops, Financial Statement Analysis, Fraud Prevention, Leadership, Pay-Plan Development/Employee Retention, and Team Coaching or ask us to create content to meet your specific needs.

20 Group

Three high-energy sessions per year driven by like-minded peers and moderated by NADA’s experts. Nobody brings more data, more experience and more results to the 20-Group experience.
