NADA Live Stage: The Modern Dealership

New-car dealers Trevor Gile and Russ Humberston are not running your grandfather’s dealerships. They’re not even running your dad’s dealerships, noted NADA’s Jared Allen, who hosted a panel discussion on “The Modern Dealership” at the Live Stage during the NADA Show in Las Vegas.

Trevor Gile, Motorcars Honda in Cleveland, Ohio, and Russ Humberston, Russ Auto Group in Beaverton, Ore., joined Allen to share the innovations they’ve put in place at their dealerships and how it’s impacted the company culture. Gile runs the first carbon neutral dealership in the world, while Humberston has developed proprietary software to replicate the dealership experience online.

Gile and Humberston also talked about what new innovations they are working on today, where they see the industry going in the next five years, and the impact of millennials on the industry as both customers and as employees. You can see more from this session in the video below.
